NARR has not announced any updated Level 2 documentation requirements for 2026. The current standards remain Version 3.0, released in November 2018.
NARR's existing standards span 4 domains, 10 principles, and 31 standards. Level II residences must maintain at least one paid staff position like a house manager and establish peer accountability systems. According to NARR's sober living training guide, current documentation requirements focus on administrative operations: governance, policies, resident rights, and documentation.
The 2018 standards already mandate specific credentialing: at least one Certified Recovery Residence Administrator (CRRA) per 50 clients, effective July 1, 2022. The Florida Certification Board sets the CRRA credential requirements at 1,000 hours of behavioral health work experience and 100 hours of continuing education.
Operators should continue following current Version 3.0 requirements. NARR has not announced any changes to these standards as of the research date.
